I just happened to be talking to my friend from Canada the other day. This friend keeps tabs on EFFC periodically and told me that the product was in fact viable, and the tests were going well, but the product was not ready to be sold yet (I have no idea why). My friend also believes that Shaw has not walked away from the deal.

Thought I'd share - I hold no shares here.
