This implies that Medicare Part D is 20% or so of prescription spending - that is an amazing statistic if true.

Hi, JR. If you add to Medicare Part D the drug spending from Medicaid and the VA, the share of total expenditures for US prescription drugs that runs through federal and state government is about half. Regards, Dew
