Brown136.......OK here's the deal with that rumor.....that applies to old shares that are no longer traded which may still be in your account such as the old worldcom or KMart shares....Ameritrade handles it that way to assist you RE: tax purposes......it has absolutely ZIP to do with shares that are traded.
