Yea if the Army was a publicly traded corporation and we invested in it before 9/11 I think all of us would be filthy fucking rich.

Anyway what I meant though was that some private company designed the software and alot of other goodies though. The Army never really manufactures anything you see it use ... at all... Bullets, Tanks, Hummers, Weapons, etc... It's all different companies that manufacture it. GM for instance makes the Army's LMTV and FMTV's , Rayetheon makes some of the anti-air missles, etc.
