Will car sales be as dismal as GM and some analysts predict?

Speaking from personal knowledge - Car sales are way down. Biggest issue being customers getting turned away for poor credit. Can't get them approved, can't get them to drive off the lot with a car. It's pretty simple.

Used to be Saturdays were big days in Colorado. 22 cars could go out on a good Saturday. Now one has five or six.

It's all about meeting the tightening credit requirements.
