I agree that there is a place for legal shorts and they are an important part of the market, it's another way of playing the game.

Hey, I did find a Canadian broker that will allow shorting of pink sheet stocks with borrows. No idea what the margin and maintenance fees are...might give them a call and find out just out of curiousity.
