Mickey: Yes. As far as we know, IDCC now has the only finding of essentiality of a patent declared to a standard. We just don't know how much the commercial value of the decision will mean. My money says that finding is part of the discussion in all licensing negotiations.

But, all should note that the decision did not stop NOK and SAM from litigating to the max.
