Mickey, IDCC does own that patent but that ownership can still be contested in court. Any company can file a suit and claim the patent office was wrong to grant that patent therefore the patent isn't valid.

The only way that might happen is for IDCC to sue someone for infringing the patent.

At that point any company could claim the patent isn't valid or their products don't infringement that patent.

We might be getting over our heads here regarding legal issues so lets wait and see what the legal eagles say about this.
