What Scottrade told me when I asked why my account said this stock was .0056 when it had closed at .0065

Now it's coming up higher again.

Today the stock wasn't down, but the value of the dividend was subtracted from the opening quote.

Not based on when the dividend is paid, but by ex-dividend date (today).

As far as I know.

This should be good to know.
