Ya know it's a real shame the UAW is acting like spoiled children. They have had the good life for a long run and now it's time to buckle down. The county I work for is millions short on their budget and we are sitting down with management (during a valid contract) and making ALOT of concessions, in manning,promotions,there will be possible demotions,ZERO overtime,cuts in uniforms,Holiday pay, you name it is on the table and we are all very very grateful to have not had any layoffs YET. Negotiate to lose the least you can sure, but I am upset as a taxpayer at the UAW's attitude.
