How long was Astrue the CEO at TKTX?
Appointed in February '03, resigned April '05.

Wasn’t he promoted from General Counsel after the prior CEO was found to be a crook?
You have a good memory. He actually resigned late in '02. I believe Richard Selden (the crook) had actually offered him the CEO position just prior. [I think they had some disagreement on direction not that Astrue had something over him :)]. As an aside one of the more dynamic Conference Calls was with Selden and perhaps Jeniffer Chao (but I am not positive) after a delay with Replagal and her saying basically you lied to us.

EDIT: He was also in Biogen for a number of years (maybe head council but I am not certain)
