How long was Astrue the CEO at TKTX? Wasn’t he promoted from General Counsel after the prior CEO was found to be a crook?

Agreed—the assessment should be on a company-specific basis. For instance (to take a preposterous example for illustration purposes), say Hank McKinnell were named the new CEO of General Motors. Even if McKinnell were to proceed by rejecting all government support and leading the company back to profitability on its own accord, it would not rescind the colossal damage McKinnell did to shareholder value at Pfizer.
