My Sony was a pain in the behind, but that's probably because we tied our stereo system and, of course, video game systems (UGG!) into the same set up. The HP TV is just a flat screen with two attached speakers -- no stereo surround sound or any of the other "bells and whistles." That one was hooked up to the Comcast box and cable and simply plugged into the wall, and viola -- a high resolution TV... I'm not a TV person either, but I am a big stereo person at nite, so for that reason the Sony hookup was well worth it. I could ditch the Wii, N64, XBox and what ever other crap they've hooked into the system, tho, in a heartbeat.
