Turns out my GARMIN 750 was real easy to set up - I was going to dump the chore on my son on Thursday; now he's off the hook. As for a new TV, it's a "want" not a "need" and since I'm not a big TV watcher, there's no hurry. All the info I got here (and in PMs) is very helpful.
Glad your SONY is now set up. Interesting comments about your experience with HP...I hear good things about their computers.
