Duke, here is a review of the 925X versus 875 chipset (DDR2-533 vs DDR400)

They seem about equal as far as I can see. I think the real benefit of DDR2-533 bandwidth will be apparent when the processor gets a 1066MHz FSB.

Re: have you noticed, of course, the simularity between Intel's new branding system and BMW's?

This is no coincidence. Intel execs have already said in interviews that they were inspired by BMW's numbering scheme.
