I am not 100% about #1. My initial thoughts were that because of what Supergarvis posted earlier:
adamp...this is not dumping for sure...this can be a BIG BUY block... For a big buyer...the mm's will bring all the shares they need to fill the buyer...before release the pps...

I suppose that it would be possible for a MM to sell to a predetermined buyer at or below ask/bid level on a prearranged agreement. I guess you could consider this a heavy version of 'loading the boat'. If that is the case once the order is filled it would unlock the hold on the pps. The question is however how long this 'big buyer' intends on holding. If it is a big buyer then more then likely he/she intends on holding long given the positive outlook for pdgt. However if he/she decides that they have reached there threshold as the pps increases then will we see a large amount of shares start to dump onto the market? Will that drive the pps down? Hmmm...to be continued....sleepy time.
