you confuse r&d for productization all they needed to do is
to plug into a feature gateway and "trick it" into handing
the hand off, sorry i didnt make that clear
further, i know enough about the history of the company to
know that leon was carting wired boxes fiddling w/ crap here
and there back in the early days before both the industry
turned on the company
the engineers at tmobie said to themselves, "i get it ok
we dont need him we can do it our selves", they didnt give
a crap about his patent nor did they care because determining
that carlso was a dofus was almost an immediate given for
even the densest corporate decision maker
what infringers have not considered is the tenacity of
shareholders in spite of carlos's antics, the "intellegencia"
have always said from the beginning amongst themselves that
they cant let this company become another qualcome and if
the patent could stand up then they'd let the court decide
what that ammount would be.
Unfortuantely for them they let the vampire in there door so
to speak when leon did the proof of concept. its very clear
that in as much as the company made every attempt to work
with potential licensees in the early days, they also did
every thing they could to complete the "litigation check list"
required to maximize damages
thats the funny thing about all this crap, frankenstein
invites dracula in to his mad laboratory in hopes to steal
the technology du jour but since dracula ia a vampire there
is nothing one can do to rid themselves of him since he was
invited in
they knew the patent was a vampire but they said dam the
torpedo's anyway we want to see
you are not fooling anyone
