P2k, i can see "prototype" as the key word. However, the switches in Miami that could be used was 1 of 2 Ericsson 512 switches (standard tdm switches). Not a softswitch. Remember the link I placed in my previous thread, TMO's vendor select for UMA was the Spatial (Alcatel-Lucent) softswitch. The software for this switch was not available even for alpha trial to TMO until 2005..

SO, I still can't see testing on the TMO network as being true let alone successful. Also remember the former regime wasn't forthcoming with their information.. I remember the China tel thing.. that never came about. The distribution in Europe, nothing. Handset manufacturing in Asia, nothing... Turrini is keeping CLYW afloat but not on the physical technology but on the hopes of winning lawsuits and hoping the suits don't go to court but each company signing a licensing agreement...

I hope the lawyers can prove "infringment" should it go to court. Also, you seem like you have a bit of legal knowledge... You know the TMO lawyers are going to string this case out with delays as long a they can...
