But beyond all the Cold War notion of winning elections by accusing people of guilt by association (whether or not there is any guilt here) -- not by their actions and record -- there is the deep and profound hypocrisy of Palin accusing anyone of being radical, considering her extremist religious beliefs and the long association of the Palins with the anti-U.S. Alaskan Independence Party (AIP).
