I might add spreading the wealth is done in other countries

Sweden comes to mind where our average income is about 50% higher than theirs. Personally I am happy to take far greater wealth for the typical person and greater disparity. Can anyone name a single country where there is more redistribution and the typical person is financially better off than the US? They are generally far far worse off. The only possible exception I can think of is perhaps Norway but they are like the Beverly hillbillies with a few million people sitting on a gazillion barrels of oil.
