I recall years back American Rice took a hit and the stock dropped to around a buck. I thought the price represented a great value opportunity and I KNOW that rice is consumed EVERYWHERE in the world. Sure enuf tho, they halted the stock - company went into a re-org of some kind and the stock symbol was changed from letters to numbers in my account. Common holders were wiped out.
