Mikey, they execute client trades... they are not required to hold on to an inventory of the stock... they are simply passing thorugh orders from people lie you and me...

in certain circumstances mm may require to hold inventories for illiquid stocks, option etc.. but this is really not one of them...

try to contact a mm or a mm firm.. and let them explain it to you.. you will then understand that this has nothing to do with them.. but simply an increase of supply by the hundreds of millions and little demand for it...
