from what I could see and considering the demographics, I think McCain won the debate because of the lasting impression he made.

Obama started out strong but lost his composure
strictly speaking debate here and considering the judges....
Americans in general......
I think McCain won this round

Obama being a quick study
might be like Bush who lost his first round with both Gore & Kerry

Obama might come back strong.

I loved how Jim Lehrer tried to engage them with each other
McCain snubbed Obama

My opinion is just that, my opinion.
