sure, however i'd just add that it's also important to provide follow up or more detailed info...especially to news that can immediately be taken as very bad. they knew the miner needed work...some aspects were obvious, others not. considering they had a lot of rock to get through before reaching the coal why not abuse the machine as it is and get as far as possible. they made some serious ground, and only have a bit more rock to go through. however the machine, in it's current state, suffered but is now getting extensive restoration done to it. it won't be perfect, but much better off. mining coal is easier on a machine than mining rock. they are now adding the new parts and expect about 85% work efficiency out of it. they are doing the repairs in the mine to the machine. the other miner, sitting outside, is starting to get some restoration work. and they are looking into getting a rebuilt one. however, as was posted previously about getting maintenance done to machinery, there can be a 2 year waiting list. no, they aren't going to wait 2 years, just look into other avenues. (and sorry, but that's as much as i'm saying)

realize none of this is a PR. none of this is info to hang your hat on or promises being made. sorry QuinnTT and others that i overall would rather remain vague, but if people in two weeks say "where's the new miner machine they promised?" you realize why it's worth only saying so much. things truly are moving along, but there isn't any day-to-day stability yet...and no one should invest based on that idea.

so the "good" news is that they got through most of the rock, beat up the machine to do it (instead of beating up a newly rebuilt machine), the machine got most the work done, now that they're approaching the real coal they are doing extensive repairs and upgrades to it, they are beginning to rebuild the other miner on site, looking into purchasing an already rebuilt one, and things at Cedar Grove are still progressing. your news isn't all bad, Anvil, but it sure looked that way. the "bad" news is that they still aren't producing a butt-load of coal. that's only bad news if you expected them to be...which of course we were b/c of a PR. based on the reality of the situation...it shouldn't have been expected quite yet. that's just my personal take.
