not justifying (and not questioning the increase in os). was a broker for 15 years telling u how analysts and financial pubs treat acquisitions. read news releases or mergers and acquisitions. if a company buys a company (with stock or cash) and as a result earnings per share increase it is called "ACCRETIVE". If as a result the new company's earnings have decreased it is called "DILUTIVE". Just the facts.
