Thats understood, most did not realize until this morning that there home loan they made with Washington Mutual, Bank One, Chase, ect ect is sold to Fannie Mae Freddie Mac. Reality it is not FRE or FNM for writing the loan but the banks that gave credit to everyone who had a job.
I believe that everyone deserves help, what i disagree with is the way they write the loans, 2-3-5 year windows then the loan is processed at a higher interest rate. That is giving people false hope. Why not give them the 30 year loan or not give them a loan at all.
If they would have done the right loan, then less people would have bought, less foreclosures and less growth during the boom. Everything always seems to take care of itself and the rich always get richer.
