$CVKD~ Upcoming Type-B FDA Meeting in September to Discuss Tecarfarin Trial in LVAD Patients
Hello all!
Would love to hear some takes on where we head from here, and potential set up plays.
I started taking call positions in UUP this week, September/Jan expiry.
I am thinking calls short term (~1-2week) on the indices IWM/SPY/QQQ and blue chips that have good set ups.
I got into some KO 62.5 calls today jan 21 expiry
Hope everyone is doing well and profiting from this moment in history we are witnessing.
Happy New Kraigger!! Hope 2019 holds a great year for you and yours.
Good to hear from you !
You could start a discord server, very easy to set up.. can pin (bookmark) and linking charts and articles is very easy.. there is also voice chat, along with the text channels
Hope you got into some of this action, volatility has been nice.. I’m 100% calls
I haven't been trading that much in 2018 as I was trying to get a couple businesses off the ground.
Over the last couple months I have been re-organizing the way I use to trade and perfecting that trade then as to the market today. I am getting really close again. Once I have it I will trade in 2019 Full-Time
Anyone that wants to contact me please do so... I am trying to figure out the best way to go about teaching again in 2019 and Not sure where the best place is these days...
IHUB or Not IHUB
Feel free to give me any ideals.

Some of the BEST stock information and advice is on Twitter.
Plus the retweets and commentary.
I am ok with twitter too.
Twitter is like best for this. So many people use Twitter.
whatsapp is owned by facebook. its like messenger or skype but much better in creating groups. all private.its a smartphone app. you can set snooze notifications whenever you want so that it won't bother you.
twitter, messages will always be mixed up if you are following others. the group we create will be private to only us and you can see only our messages and can go back and see the older messages.
Whatsapp, is it a trading chat room and does it have places to only talk options
WhatsUp Dotnet..... vs WhatsAPP Dotnet
Good to hear from you guys... I have been playing with SPX lately but not watching the market in general... I like the 3 daily expiration's each week. Big moves pay off very nicely
Never used it.. Do you use Twitter?
kraigger, whatsapp on smart phone is the best to chat. i know lot of peeps do these days.
Kraigger,
How about Twitter.
Vish
Vish,,,, Until I perfect my trading again I will not put anyone in Jeopardy of my picks... I have a reputation of being a pretty good option trader and after my divorce I walked away from the market for over a year. Since that time I have had to retrain my eye, make sure I am not just throwing darts, and what I see has a rhyme and reason.
I'm getting close
with that said, I will never by a subscription to this site again because it runs way to slow...
Is there a better place to talk to people. I even considered talking to Jimmybob about joining his site but we would have to get past the passed and see if we can play in the same sand box
After the first of the year, I will do this more full time as I don't want to have to deal with it on a large level on my taxes this year.
Vegas
I had to retrain myself and the only way to do that and understand charts is in short term charts.... The lessons repeat themselves much faster...
For the last couple months I have been fiddling with this and that; but you are right, Less is always more and I think I have finally started getting back to the things that I truly like, The 15 minute chart. I am actually playing more with the 30 minute chart lately
As I have always Taught, Less is more and more risk is taken out...
Will you be posting your SPX trades on here?
Lol looks like we went in opposite directions.
I'm now trading the slower, longer term trade. And you're into $SPX. I know you traded it before.
See, I never forgot what you said about trading less and making more.
One trade a week is as good as five if done right.
That's why I've gone to the UOA orderflow thing. Now I trade 2 to 4 weeks out and sell earlier if my target is reached before that. Watching price on my cell phone and carrying a Tab and Hotspot with me I can trade (mostly sell) on the go. Most buys are made at home.
I'm using the Cloud and Pivots to calculate entry and exit points. Using slightly OTM options ant time decay as a friend not an enemy.
This doesn't work too well on the fast A$$ $SPX. Then again I can adjust Cloud speeds for faster trades. But I like what I'm doing with UOA so I stay.
Nice hearing from you kraigger. Take care
I trade SPX pretty much on a daily basis
I've been playing the 3 minute reversals on the pivot. Funny part is sometimes I have to use the day before resistance or support because its not clear to hit the same days...
Its as if they are trying to get tricky and I have to keep an eagle eye on them and catch on each and every week to the sudden change.
But when it comes down to it. I still use the 15 and 30 minute MACD crosses like always...
Are you taking any tardes?
Solid strategy. Did you get any amzn calls? I sold early but made lunch money.
Kraigger, how you doing?
I've kinda moved into Ichimoku Cloud with pivots. Nothing else on the chart. I've coupled that with order flow and put call ratios.
I'm finding better success with that. Less trades and time on the computer and bigger win and small losses.
It's called UOA. unusual option activity.
Here's one of your old OM buddies explaining it.
I came back and saw activity and was Surprised...
I have been working on my Trading views.
3 minute vs 15 minute vs 30 minute vs 1 hour chart...
I have gone to Pivots Resistance and Support on the 3 minute as my entry and use the 15 minute MACD and 30 minute MACD for my longer trades
I use E trade.. and no o don't know how to code.
Only solution I found is to copy and past each one individual and delete the code...
Not ideal.
Do you trade with TDA? I'm with them and I can show you an easier format than I use.
Do you know anything about code?
Reason I ask is that when trying to show you what I do I found an easier way to do it.
The format used in the messenger and reply doesn't allow
for empty spaces. there must be something there or the program will
adjust to the open space.
Anyway let me know who you trade with and we'll go from there.
I'll get back to you after the close today.
How do you get your trades to copy and paste so well?
I can't figure it out.
I have found mucho info on it. Most of it is premium services of some type.
It just depends how much service you want. There are free sites to follow Unusual Option Activity, (UOA).
https://marketchameleon.com/
https://www.barchart.com/options/unusual-activity
https://www.stocktwits.com/Daily_Stock_Plays
But as you said the big thing here is are they buying calls/puts of selling
calls or puts?
To know that exactly you would need a premium service. $99.00 per month is the cheapest I've seen. However some pump out 10-20 trades per day leaving you with no time to research them to see if you want the trade.
Three things I have found to be important f you want to go this route.
1. You have to learn Ichimoku Cloud.
2. You have to be real good with TOS
3. You have to be willing to have small 100% losses to have
mega wins.
If you want I have more info on trading UOA. Here's a great one form UPB of the Option Millionaires board using TOS option hacker.
yes. that's the only way to catch big moves. i could not figure out unusual options activity whether its a buy or sell. are you using any tools to guage that. i follow one guy on twitter,he is pretty good at it. now its paid service. let me know if you can find some good tools on that.
Hey dotnet, nice to hear from you.
Well for me I'm going the way of order flow. Where the big money so goes me. Charts and indicators of old are not the wave of the future. Where hedge funds and insiders put their money is where the stock is going.
And that's what's working for me.
GLTY
howdy vegas. one thing i figured out is it's all about daily trend. if the daily trend is up go long and if its down go short. i am using 1 hr and 5 min charts only for exits.
My new trading format. Unusual Option Activity. Still working out the bugs. But it's the only way (imo) for a small guy to trade options and have a life.
I do have some 100% losses. But 60% of the trades are under $150.00.
the rest are under $250. Most are at least 2 weeks to a month out.
Most are Lotto's but with good planning.
Well done !
Lost 50% but got out.
Did better on this one.

I'm buying late Sept $SPX $2,400 puts as they move into my price target range. Sept 22nd and 29th. I'm sure I won't be sorry.
Also it gives me time to have a life.
It went on to $19.00. But I live in So. Florida and as you know Irma is
coming to town. So it's take the money and board up. Also we might not have power for a while. So grab what you can.
SPX will drop again tomorrow
That a Pay the Bills

I am Watching SPX
Most of my plays are based on the Daily chart and the 15 minute chart... Which ever way the Daily chart Histrogram and MACD Direction states, I only play that way. If the 15 minute Histrogram and MACD are in the same direction, you have directional power most of the time. If opposite, although it is hard not to pull the trigger on the opposite play, It tells me to stay away...
Today is one of those days...
AS much as I would like to have played the PUTS, there is no reason to cross the path of an angry situation
I will wait for my play to set up again and know I have a 85% success rate on those picks
It isn't about playing everyday....
It's about building a BANKROLL
Volume is still going to be Low today as many are just getting back to work and looking at upcoming projections...
Don't get fooled by movement in short term, pay attention to the trends...
September is usually a Down Month....
I will look into this... I have been playing 2 3 day Pivot to Pivot... It has a retrace very often, and best I can see is that it is following the sto
I have found it's better to trade $SPX from yearly Fib Pivots.
Sort of like having $SPX run into your trade. It's where you make the best
hits.
Sort of like this:
Filled Buy to Open 1 SPX Aug 18 2017 2465.0 Put Limit 3.00 -- 11:06:52 08/16/17
Filled Sell to Close 1 SPX Aug 18 2017 2465.0 Put Limit 26.00 -- 15:10:55 08/17/17
That was a Pivot low to a Pivot high. Only need one per week.
Whats Up Vegas
Its all I am going to play for a while... Easy to pick daily or weekly expirations every other day...
Also the Pivot Support and Resistance work great on this chart but you cant look at volume.
Look into it

Knights of the Round Table
The fellowship of the Round Table was similar to those of the medieval military orders, Knights Hospitallers (1113) and Knights Templar (1119), founded in the First Crusade. Each order had their own set of rules or customs; such as what color or device they can have on their shields, surcoats, banner, etc.
Rules are Important to Success

Imperfect Dreams |
Geoffrey of Monmouth was usually seen as one of the first who brought the Arthurian world to life, though there are scattered works, references and oral traditions from Wales and Brittany. Yet, in his Historia regum Britanniae ("History of the Kings of Britain", c. 1137), a number of essential elements that make up the Arthurian world, didn't appear in his work. The heroes, Lancelot and Perceval were no where to be seen. There was also no Camelot, no Holy Grail, and more importantly, no Round Table.
It wasn't until 1155, when an Anglo-Norman author from Jersey, named Wace, wrote down his Roman de Brut in French, and introduced the Round Table into the Arthurian legend. However, Wace's version was different to what we popularly know today about the Round Table.
The knights were usually of noble birth: they were usually kings and princes, dukes, counts (or earls) and barons. They formed the backbone of the army, since they were the only one who could afford expensive armour and weapon, as well as the cost of training and maintaining the war-horse.
When the knights attend a festival or council at the king's main hall, those who sat at the head of table, usually have precedence over others. These knights would feel envy or jealousy to those of higher ranking. Sometimes, the knights would cause a brawl, over who would take the seat at the head of table.
To resolve these problems, Arthur resorted to having his table constructed in a rounded shape. The ingenuity of this design, make all the knights equal, regardless if he was a king or a minor baron. No one would have precedence over others.
The knights in Arthur's company became known as the "Knights of the Round Table". These knights were heroes, renowned for their strength and courage, and for their skill in combat and warfare. They swore to protect the king and the kingdom.

Round Table
In todays terms, A round table is much like a conference room. Many gather to give out ideals and the VP Manager or Big man on Campus, in literal terms, gets to pick from all the good ideas and present to the CEO. Problem with this is the Guy presenting is the only one that ever looks good and its up to him to promote the people helping him. Sounds a lot like Kissing Ass. So at my round table, everyone gets to take care of themself. The board is the conference room and the each person is the Manager or CEO. I'm just the Moderator.

Update June 17, 2016
Been moving, Divorce and now to teach again.
Trading Options is about having a Plan.
My Plan
How to go from $5,000.00 to a Quarter Million in 6 Months... How would I know???? Because I was Successful Twice in 3 months and working on the 3rd time...
Now I just want to share my plan and Pay It Forward.
My Plan is Simple
Most of you that are following me, have seen my $5,000.00 Challenge. It really doesn’t matter if you have $1000.00 or $5000.00 to start, the theory is still the same. If you follow the schedule, and learn to trade a play that works for me 6 out of 10 times, you can learn to profit, as long as you are discipline. Yes I throw money at Lotto’s, but it is not part of this program. I have also traded for many years and understand a budget. Take lotto's out of your game until you have enough money to play Lottos.
I never play with anything I can’t afford to lose.
If you do the simplest of things, follow the schedule, Play within the rules I have established, learn to read charts, that I am willing to teach, open an account with my broker TDAMERITRADE, I can teach you how to see very basic models that are successful in the Options Market. As you grow, and your funds increase, then we will update your computer sytem so you can see everything at once.
So why do most people lose in Options.
Wealth is not earned overnight. Just like anything in life, you have to work hard, learn, specialize, produce, and in the end, reap the benefits.
