Sounds like you guys are going to have a blast !! When I caught my halibut we were in water ranging from 140-360 feet deep and we were only about a quarter to a half mile out. In the area you are fishing how far out do you have to go to get those depths ? just curious as to if there are any similarities in the drop offs from your area and homer.
