To me shareholder value ONLY increase with the PPS. We can hold this forever, and if the PPS is same same or lower, where is our value? Am I missing something here.

I agree that the actions of the CEO are tied to company value and earnings and sucess. BUT, the PPS should rise IF this is happening as planned.

Your last paragraph has me stumped. Please explain your thoughts.
