Jimmy, sometimes you really disappoint me. :( Mitchell has to be one of the most incompetent researchers around.

Also strange was Carol’s long-standing, close relationship with Anthony Elgindy

Mitchell made that same statement about the street.com/Cramer and Elgindy. Anyone who has been on message boards for years (especially SI) knows that Elgindy and Cramer despised each other. Elgindy was forever calling thestreet.com the perfect short sell. If you go to SI and do a search, you will find him calling it a short many times over, and Cramer every conceivable foul name in the book. Cramer called Elgindy worst.

Beth Kwon of the street.com wrote negative articles lambasting Elgindy for thestreet.com. She, like Cramer had a war of words with Elgindy. All of this was in public view. Now if Cramer and Elgindy were such buddies as Mitchell claimed, why would Kwon attack his "pal" Elgindy? Sorry, you just can't fake the heated feud those folks had.

Fact is, not many journalist liked Elgindy. He was extremely abrasive. I firmly believe Carol Remond, just like Kwon/Cramer is one of them.

Elgindy broke down in tears, and there in the court gallery was Carol, laughing with glee

I have no idea why Mitchell is rewriting history. It's just interesting for those of us who actually witnessed it playing out on the message boards to see the rewrite, and have a few laughs at the lack of research by someone who obviously is being feed by another source.
