I know a lot of people recently that very much share the same opinion. And I certainly do believe that IHUB is gradually turning into a Raging Bull type message board.
I, too, have seen the gradual degradation of many a board by where the negative postings can no longer just be seen solely as negative posting. You are absolutely correct in pointing out the unquestionable double standard, imo, which now exists within Ihub.
In particular, I have offered many repetitive posts by the same individuals on the BLDV board to Ihub. I either have received no response from Admin, or a simple explanation as to a message board can not effect the movement of the PPS. That had nothing to do with my question, but the numerous repetitive posts are allowed to stand. And when the frustration of honest, decent, and hard working individuals boils over to stupid posts or an attack against the bashers, the normally calm posters are either deleted or outright banned. Yet the real continuous offenders of TOU are allowed free reign to bash away or ask the same questions over and over and over virtually unabated.
I still believe Ihub to be one, if not the best, message board available, but something has to change soon. When there are repeated TOU violations of the type you mention that are purposely allowed by Ihub, the perception of most members is exactly what you describe and I hear.
It has gone on far too long, and the thoughts of many Ihubber is now that Ihub purposely supports the bashing and continuous violations of the tag team bashers that has become so, so obvious that it borders on the ridiculous. But what truly is sad, is that Admin has the power to reduce it if not halt it. Rumors are abounding within many Ihub member that Ihub is owned by a foreign entity, and therefore in support of the orchestrated tag team attacks on many, many boards to assist with the shorts or NSS. Not sure if I buy into that yet fully, but with what I'm witnessing lately, who knows? lol. It certainly seems to point in that direction when so many TOU violations are allowed to stand. Think about it? Nah!!
Hopefully Admin can take these two posts with a bit of seriousness, and attempt to restore a bit of an even message board or playing field as many call it.
