Post# of 1714
my ideas by post position

1 Lion Heart (Tale of the Cat) Patrick Biancone Mike Smith 3-1
will attempt wire to wire
CAN finish the race anywhere from first to off the board
low odds

2 Borrego (El Prado [Ire]) Beau Greely Victor Espinoza 15-1
shows at best

3 Little Matth Man (Matty G) Martin Ciresa Richard Migliore 50-1
bad

5 Song of the Sword (Unbridled's Song) Jennifer Pedersen Jorge Chavez 30-1
maybeeeeeeeee on the board 4th

6 Sir Shackleton (Miswaki) Nick Zito Rafael Bejerano 30-1
will go with Lion, but most likely won't stay ... but strangely "tempting" although Zito will draw some money now that this is his only horse running ....

7 Smarty Jones (Elusive Quality) John Servis Stewart Elliott 8-5
on OR off the board .. just not on top today

8 Imperialism (Langfuhr) Kristin Mulhall Kent Desormeaux 5-1
coming at the end and could hit the board anywhere but most likely at too low a price to accurately reflect his limited chance to win

9 Eddington (Unbridled) Mark Hennig Jerry Bailey 8-1 Bailey draws lotsa money on number nine, but none of mine for more than bottom of exotics

10 Rock Hard Ten (Kris S.) Michael Orman Gary Stevens 6-1
joc did not cross the big waters to do anything but have his pic taken in the circle .... here is the winner ... NOW, I do have some reservations concerning his lack of experience ... three ain't enough to make me happy, but, as I told Scoot, IF he had more, he'd be lower odds, so, I guess it should balance out for me .... gggg

11 Water Cannon (Waquoit) Linda Albert Ryan Fogelsonger 30-1
too slow, too cheap, too heavily raced (Imp and Matth are the only ones with more starts) ...
but, he does like and know the track
and can get up in time to mess up a bunch of exotics without him on the bottom
