I still don't understand the difference between a trifecta box and wheel?


TRIFECTA - WHEEL
The trifecta wheel requires the bettor to spot the first, second and third horse in any specified order of finish. The payout on this bet is always going to be higher than an exacta or quinela because of the level of diffilculty involved. To wheel, you must specify the horse numbers to win, followed by the numbers for second, and the numbers for third.

Trifecta Wheel Combinations:

Wheel 1x3x3 others incl. - 6 bets
Wheel 1x4x4 others incl. - 12 bets
Wheel 1x5x5 others incl. - 20 bets
Wheel 2x3x3 inclusive - 4 bets
Wheel 2x4x4 inclusive - 12 bets
Wheel 2x5x5 inclusive - 24 bets


Exacta & Trifecta Box

Select any number of runners in your bet. The box will cover all possible combinations of those numbers. You collect on an "Exacta" box if any two selections finish first and second in any order. You collect on a "Trifecta" box if any three finish first, second or third in any order.
