it's respondeat superior tort liability. agency theory. it's a clear failure of the bank to manage / monitor his activities all while profiting from the relationship as our named Trustee. They are most definitely on the hook and it really surprises me that jpm hasn't reached out and tried to slice pxd's throat for providing them with false information. you'd think they would at least try and deflect some of the damages but they haven't really put up that much of a fight in my opinion.

And woodside? where the hell have they been hiding? it's pretty late in the game for these guys to be playing coy. just be patient as I suspect a whole slew of papers will be hitting the courthouse over the next 30-45 days. time is running out. trial is set for december and i'd be scrambling to prep my case OR working hard towards resolution.
