Motley Fool CAPS Community and All-Stars Still Bullish
(post from another site by PauvrePappilion)
Even at $7.00 per share, the Motley Fool CAPS Community continues to remain bullish on Accuray, 406 outperform (the S&P) versus only 17 underperform. CAPS All-Stars rate ARAY 98 outperform versus only 8 underperform and their comments indicate that they actually get the technology.

Now if management would put that animated video in place to help investors understand what CyberKnife actually does and send their CEO (not their CFO) in to work any all all investor conferences that would have them, we’d start to see that same CAPS enthusiasm spread over to other investor communities as well. Bring in a CFO that could clear up the backlog, order and install confusion and we’d start to see some serious positive movement in the share price with or without the big revenue numbers that we all know we are, sooner or later, going to see.
I haven’t sold off any Accuray shares at all in 2008 and continue to stand by ARAY as a great mid to long-term play. And, by the way, I was in Africa from 30 May through 2 July and didn’t even follow the share price or news reports while I was in the jungle. It is good to see that we’ve solved the Japanese regulatory issues and broken into Canada as well. It’s also good to see that my CAPS portfolio continues to do well (34 out of 60,097 players as of Tuesday).

(Pauvre now addresses some of the bashers who took his absence while in Africa to assert that he has sold out and was a LIAR who pumped and dumped! I, of course, KNEW this was false because NO ONE who is so prominent in the CAPS competition has the time or interest to be a low-life P&D artist! JMO... g.)
I know I’ve said this before - like way back in August 2007 before the 144 shares even freed up - but if you don’t understand the technology, don’t but this stock.
No, I haven’t read any of the specific posts, just the titles, but obviously some on this board are no less than obsessed with me. I guess I should be flattered but, frankly, I find that more than a little weird. Don’t you?
There is really only one reason why people would haunt a message board such as this with a continuous stream of negative comments. They are in the oncology business and invested in competing treatment protocols (either conventional radiation, surgery or chemo) and they see Accuray as a major threat to their livelihood.
In reality, every wailing, bashing, obsessed post they make should be taken as further evidence that Accuray really does have the goods. CyberKnife is a truly revolutionary and disruptive technology and there are many in the industry that are feeling threatened. Good!
So many thanks to the ARAY bashers, even the ones fatally attracted to me, because, for the sophisticated long-term investor, they are nothing less than confirmation that we are no doubt on the right track.
