Yeah, Plant's situation is very different from Hank'. If you knew the details, you would retract that statement. Hank did nothing more than what dozens of people do on Wall Street every day of the week.

He bought some stock to support a higher price. The big investment banking firms do that every day in support of their investors who they convinced to buy certain IPO's that may be tanking. They manipulate the prices to give their investors time to get out. Hank pleaded guilty to buying stock to help keep a price up.

On Wall Street, you get a big bonus for doing it. On Main Street, you do time for it.

Smallcapengine never issued anything it knew to be fraudulent. I am positive that Big Apple was also fooled by Plant as was Sullivan. BA may be managed by people with huge egos, but I cannot believe that they would jeopardize their business to support a scam. I spent a few days over there. I was not impressed with their business acumen, but Plant was in love with them. They stroked his ego big time. I spent several days over there.

Meanwhile, in St. George, an office full of worker bees toiled away on meaningless projects never suspecting that they were pawns in a scam. Let's not blame everyone who touched this POS for being part of the scam. As far as Uncle Sam and I are concerned, this was a Plant job pure and simple.

Think about it. If more people were involved, don't you think someone would have had enough brains to make the scam actually work? No, this was the genius of one, very flawed and not all that brilliant individual. He wasn't bright enough to figure out the ending to the scam. He only figured out the beginning and middle.
