pacor - Regarding the prototype...In the last several years many companies have entered the tire recycling business, offering various processes to solve what was hyped as a green problem. The 'green nature' of the tire recycling business mostly resides in the false marketing by such companies that there are billions of tires sitting around in piles, and they are breeding insects, starting fires, etc.
"Tires are now recycled at levels over 90%.. most of the tire piles have been cut-up and current removals are being used as TDF's. Waste Rubber is now a commodity, and no longer something you have to get rid of."
The real potential for the microwave technology is in hydrocarbon production and medical applications. This prototype must prove more than just the ability to process tires. It's more important they 'get it right' than worry about the short term pps.
