This spending attitude is not appropriate now for GTCB, vis-a-vis their continued success in partnering. For example, in my discussions at the Shareholder's Meeting, I was told that for the development of FOB partnerships, GTCB was REQUIRED to spend (on their dime) to develop the recombinant proteins expressed in milk, to demonstrate the goat platform and the resulting superior product- better ADCC activity for example.

Without these experiments, they would not get in the door for discussions with the potential FOB partners. However, Dr. Geoff Cox did say publically that these costs were actually quite low.
