I call BS on this one. GTC's whole business model is about partnering their IP and innovative production platform. They shouldn't be spending money on ANY program at this point unless it is partnered and the partner is paying most, if not all, of the development costs.

They have spent a fortune validating the technology, breeding founder animals and paying 160+ employees for years with no revenues. The time is NOW for them to get more serious about belt tightening. They have their assets in hand for partnering discussions and I am not complaining that over one third of their payroll are in business development and marketing roles as this is where they have to be focused, but at this point they need to put a lid on their operating expenses. If that means trimming R&D on all but partnered programs and reducing non critical operations and admin staff then so be it.
