MIB. I apreciate your concern. Yet, here you are trying to talk about a situation where you don't have all the info I have.
I notice you came to the boards 2 weeks ago. This situation has been going on publically for quite some time and privately for longer.
PL1 saw that. He acknowledged that.
He still disagreed with some things I said but he saw that there was more to the story. His answer is to pray for her and love her. Couldn't agree more.
We all need to pray and love each other here and every where.

I'm not going to get into arguing scripture with you.
It's not important enough to my ego to do it here.
I'm very, very, comfortable with the advice I gave knowing what I know of the situation.
You are quite aware of other boards on the hub who thrive on arguing scripture. Great for them. That is there thing.

I can not explain anymore then I already have about the word love and the different forms it takes.

Separation is not BREAKING ones vow to God.
Divorce without adultery taking place is.
Have you read anywhere that I said to divorce him?

Separation is just that. Separating.
Separating until both parties can acknowledge the situation is out of control and behavior rules are established and followed long enough where the two parties love has been renewed and strengthened in Christ so that when coming back together in a living together environment GLORY is brought back to God.

Now a Church has stepped into the situation and hopefully if the right rules are established with the right accountability partners involved both parties can stay together which financially makes it better on both as well as less emotions coming into play.

So we should be praying for the wisdom of that church involved.

WHO are WE to interfere with God's plan and purpose?

If you had understood my posts you'd understand what I proposed was to bring this marriage back to a point where with behaviour rules in place true change would take place that would honor MARRIGE, not make a mockery of it.

That is not interfering, that is RESTORING GOD'S WILL!

When scripture says to subject yourself to your husband it does not mean you just sit there and pray doing nothing while he continues going out to bars with woman as just one example in their marriage.
If you think that is what God intended a woman to do I disagree.

Love sometimes requires drastic measures.

Hopefully this churches direction will stop that from happening. Hopefully he won't con them like he has with everyone else in his life including his doctor.

Only time will tell.
