It makes no sense for a CEO to send a friend to a board to try to talk the stock down.
It is not in the companies best interest for a low opening. The stock trades from there and they tend to go sideways for a very long time.
I doubt very much their intent is to buy the round up shares back on the cheap.....it makes no sense to wipe out their capitalization to do so. Damage would last way to long.
Then again maybe they are not very astute public executives and no not understand the affects of a low stock trading level.
