I don't understand the A/S either Fung_derf, but it's just as easy to erase shares once they've fulfilled their purpose according to some grander plan.

Anyone of us is free to watch what happens next from the sidelines if they don't believe something like this is in the cards.

Also, on the drilling...

Surely more applicable than anywhere else, share valuation in the diamond exploration business depends considerably more on your latent assets versus the ones you've already dug up.

If you've got a million acres immediately adjacent to and surrounding already producing diamond territory you don't need to be bringing up diamonds form 4700 of your own holes to get share price moving smartly in the North direction.

All you need do is take someone to the center of your property and show them a few nice diamonds that you've found after drilling just a modest number of holes.

Then from the scene in "Forbidden Planet" in which Walter Pidgeon (Dr. Edward Morbius) is describing the extent of the great machine ...

You face North, extend your arm and say "20 miles!"
Then you face East, extend your arm and slowly say "20 miles!"
Then you face South, extend your arm and slowly say "20 miles!"
Then you face West, extend your arm and say "20 miles."

(which is about right for a million acres, BTW)

I'd much rather have the race car and all it can do for us right now than have a few more holes in the ground.

But then, that's just my take. LOL
