You know I completely know where you are coming from. I see a very bad direction the church is going right now. To me it seems that churches are seeking money then the spirit. This prosperity movement is making our faith look like a joke. It looks like every time I watch a show on TBN or others they want us to give them our tithes. my storehouse is in a church not a tv show. Most of these TV shows now preach on prosperity and not Christ. Prosperity is fine but without the peace of christ what good is it. What's fnny is I got saved out of a jail when I was 25 and immediately joined the church. Well after that they like me but I have always had a red mark because of it, not right at all. I have not been happy in church since 2001 because of the pride there. My former pastor who is huge in Nashville is so arrogant he won't say hi to anyone unless you are big in this church. how is this christ like. But when I tried to leave the holy spirit would stop me and my wife saying no, so we stayed for 5 years until Aug of last year.

When he told us to leave we were seeking where to go and my wife mentioned Mt. Zion in nashville nd something just arose to excitement. We went just to visit and were so impressed by the spirit here we never left. people will actually stop and waive at you while your driving to park. but the fantastic art is this is the largest church in Tennessee, it has over 22,000 members and the bishop makes it a priority to talk to his congregation face to face. after he finishes preaching he comes down to meet the people. something lost in todays church. He even has said the church is fading away from personalization.
