There are lots of disparate considerations connected with share value that one might want to bring to bear when trying to grow a small company Andy.
Consider that you can't get to the OTC as you say, or any other listed exchange, until you're trading for a few dollars. Just having the paperwork ready to go won't cut it.
You're correct in that finding diamonds and lots of them is probably most important for getting share price up.
But consider that share price will only go up if investors hear about the company.
To be sure, if diamonds are found, some will learn about the company from reading about it in the financial pages.
On the other hand, what's wrong with drawing in other potential investors to the company who don't read the financial pages but read about us (and BTW they have diamonds too!) in the sports pages because Jeff Arend just won a big race, or because there's a story about CMKX sponsoring one?
There's 10,000 or more other deserving stocks out there competing for investor's dollars. And I'll even toss in mutual funds as the deepest pocket investors looking for good stock plays, since you bring it up.
What's wrong with distinguishing yourself from the pack to get noticed? In my view any cost effective gimmick that you can think up to accomplish this is certainly in our interest as investors IMO. The payback could be monumental!
I LOVE the fact that we're a diamond company that's also into racing as a sideline!!!
Eventually, this could land us on the same front page as De Beers, Michael Jackson, or Michael Jordan, etc.
Then think about the share price and getting on the OTCBB.
