if a product uses any of the IFX 3g gold series 608 through 616 (four chips), IDCC gets paid. in your post to tangent, you state that if a product uses IFX 3g chips, IDCC may get paid. therefore, if APPL uses the IFX 3g chip, IDCC gets paid. in a logic exercise, my a + b = c seems to work whereas, it appears an inconsistency exists in your posts to tangent & me. in my initial post to you, all I noted was that if a product used an IFX ASIC 3g chip, IDCC gets a royalty. never mentioned any specific company.
