Considering the economy these days (rising food and energy prices), regular people are looking to cut corners and are now foregoing costly eco-friendly products in favor cheaper alternatives. Only the wealthy will spend extra money for "green" products and things like free range chickens and organic produce. If the economy were booming and people had lots of money to toss around the prospects would be better.
