she was made an assitant yesterday after she asked me. I didn't know she was part of this new outfit until they posted about it today.

With the deletion review process put in place by admin, why is there an issue? submit every deleted post you have a problem with and admin reviews it. If they find she's abusing deletion power, they will remove her.

If you trusted admin to review deletions before, what is different now?
