I think this overstates the immediate extent of Stoll's departure. Varney will run the company, but Stoll will be continuing full time for a while, mainly dealing with the interface of Cortex with the financial community, which is where Varney has not yet built up a lot of experience. That will also eventually transition to Varney, my guess is in 12-18 months.

But I think it was right on target to put Stoll's tenure in perspective in terms of what he had to contend with upon arrival...and the circumstances out of his control which dogged him more recently. He has done a solid job, far beyond that which is commonly attributed to him by casual, underinformed observers.
