This is the reason when a company wants to do financing it goes to an investment fund of some sort. It can only get that sort of long term money from long term investors.

Just to throw out numbers, if they sold 100 million shares at 0.35 for 35 million, then the investor would own 1/2 the float.

I believe that in a buyout right now GTC is worth 200-400 million. So the investor would put in 35 million and gain at least 65 million. 1/2 the 200 million buyout.

If you don't think GTC is worth at least 200 million, why keep your shares? If you are right about what GTC is worth, then why wouldn't a long term investor want to own a signficant piece of the company?
