Hmmm ... I know, let's organize a coup and throw out the emperor (who so apparently never was wearing any clothes) .... but let's sign a deal where we give him/her monthly and continual access to sell the kingdom's keys based on share value with no limits on the potential conversion numbers rather than ... oh I don't know ... a fixed share amount and/or conversion price. 'Cause you know ... former dictators/disgraced leaders never hold grudges ... never - they always just go gently into that good night .... Sheesh .... I mean, sometimes you have no choice but to bend over, but that doesn't mean you have to provide the KY.
And ... what do you think will happen when you provide basically the same terms to an estate that probably has to pay bills, tie up loose ends and move as much money as possible into long term, safe and fixed income assets.
But, I suppose if you think can limp along until the barrels are empty and all the ammo seems to be spent, then the share fairies can just come along and wave those magic wands again. Assuming, of course, you don't feel any guilt about, or responsibility to, the 100-odd trusting and generous "citizens" whom you had a duty to serve and protect (or 2000 depending on which filing you go by ... I sure hope it isn't 2000 because that means a lot of innocent people got suckered in the last 4 months). You know, those drive-by victims who paid your salaries and graciously "gave" you authority in the first place.
Ooops .... a little venting there .... sorry .... and yes, I do recognize my own very large responsibility and culpability here for not reading each and every note in all the filings before taking the gamble, as well as for not calculating out ALL the share conversion numbers beforehand .... and yes, I did see it as very similar to taking money to a roulette wheel so, no, I didn't "count on a return" .... and no, I don't need any cheese .
And yclip ... trust me, I am really not that smart of an investor .... I know that because of the red I currently see in my portfolio and also because my wife tells me so pretty much every day . Innova certainly hasn't done any favours for my relationship. ... oh well ... live and learn.
